Damon M. Fisch

 
 

Damon’s practice has concentrated in real estate transactions since he started as a real estate paralegal in 1996. Damon has been a practicing attorney since 2002. Damon has closed countless real estate transactions for clients, both residential and commercial. Damon also has extensive real estate litigation experience. He has litigated the following issues: eminent domain, title insurance defense, mechanics lien, mortgage rescue fraud, eviction, general real estate transaction litigation, foreclosure and breach of contract.

Prior to starting his own firm, Damon was an associate with Helm & Wagner, in Naperville, where he was a member of the litigation team that attained a $31 million jury verdict for its defendant property owner, the largest jury award in Illinois eminent domain litigation history. Damon also acted as Vice-President Litigation Counsel for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company representing the company and its insured clients before forming the firm of Hartnett Fisch in 2012, which ultimately transitioned to the current Law Office of Damon M. Fisch, P.C.

Education

Damon is a Naperville Central graduate and a lifelong resident in the Naperville area. Damon received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in 1994. In 1996, he completed his paralegal certificate at Harper College. In 2002, he received a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and his M.B.A from the Illinois Institute of Technology – Stuart School of Business. Damon was a recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence in Copyright Law at Chicago-Kent.

Will Owens



Will Owens is an Associate Attorney at The Law Office of Damon M. Fisch, P.C. Will focuses his practice on civil litigation matters involving breach of contract, mechanics’ lien litigation, real estate litigation, lease disputes, and evictions. Will has a background in representing insurance companies and insureds in coverage and liability disputes arising out of property damage to both residential and commercial properties and personal injury claims.

Education

Will received his J.D. from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2021 where he graduated cum laude. While in law school, Will was a staff editor on the NIU Law Review and interned with the Honorable Sara L. Darrow, Chief United States District Judge for the Central District of Illinois. Will is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and DuPage County Bar Association.
